Teach And Grow Rich: 9 Powerful Principles For Success as shared by Acclaimed Author Mr. Herbert Harris.

 

I just came from watching a great video training posted by one of my good internet buddies Tracey Walker.

In the video she first starts out with some training on facebook marketing. About midway through however, she introduces acclaimed author Mr. Herbert Harris~author of the 12 universal laws of success who then gives a powerful training on the 9 principles inherent to his work “Teach and Grow Rich”. Teach and Grow Rich

1) Take responsibility for your Life and your Affairs

a. We are where we are in life because of our thoughts, emotions, associations and behaviors (ring your own bells).

2) Realize that everything begins in thought

b. a man shall have whatsoever he thinketh in his heart. (still our minds with the things that we want to have do and think)

3) Write Your Vision.

c. Where there is no vision the people perish

d. where there is a vision the people prosper

e. What do you want your life to look like on 12-31-2010?

f. Write your vision clearly and in great detail

4) Make the necessary changes in your life.

g. Be not conformed to this world. But, be you transformed be the renewing of your mind

5) Build a team

h. When two or more are gathered on one accord, the “making power” is in the midst of them.( it is a whole lot easier to get on the train than to lay track)

6) Make a written Plan

i. Write the vision. Make it plain upon tablets that he may run that readeth it.

7) Take Continuous action

j. Live each day with commitment and passion for the realization of your vision. ( don’t stop. even when you have first success. success breeds success).

8) Monitor your progress

k. Live your life in daytight compartments.

l. Monitor the productiveness of your plan on a daily basis.

9) Don’t Quit.

m. Seek and you shall find. Knock and it shall be opened. Ask and it will be answered.

n. How Long?

o. Until you get it :-)

Facing The Giants Within!!!

This is such a powerful video…

It is so much so that I just had to share it with you. I have watched this clip  now on four different occasions and every time I do it brings tears to my eyes. It does not bring tears of sorrow however, but tears that come from that gut wrenching feeling that tells you…  “you can do and be so  much more than you are currently doing/experiencing“.

Am I getting soft in my ah hmm “old age” :-) .

Are You Being Realistic?

Often people ask me what results can I realistically expect to make in xyz company or is it realistic for me to make X Dollars in X amount of time. I most often answer with a question such as “Well Mr or Mrs Prospect how much do you really want to make or Based on everything that I just told you how much do you really believe that you can make with us. I ask these questions because the fact of the matter is that It really does not matter what I or anyone else thinks about their income or success potential. It only matters what they believe.  No Matter how great a coach I or you may feel that we are we can never coach someone to a million dollar income who has a $10/ hr mindset.  So in essence the answer to this question can only come from the person who is asking it.

 

Why Being Realistic Is Bad For Business

Another point of contention is the whole notion of “being realistic”.  What is that and who defines it anyway? The whole notion is most often a cop out… An excuse that people use to settle for less than what is possible…  Being realistic is a road that most often leads to mediocrity and underachievement. So stay clear of this trap.

In the video below I expand on this notion in more depth and back it up with some insightful historical context that highlight the illegitimacy of “ A Realistic” way of thinking.
