Case Study: Submitting To Software Directories For Website Traffic Leads And Fun!!!

The other Day I had a pleasant surprise when reviewing the traffic stats for my Blog.

There was a spike in Traffic that seemed to come from 1 refering website.

When I looked closer i discovered that the surge in traffic came from a software directory.

You see, some time back I created a browser toolbar and uploaded it to over 1,000 software directories. I included the anchor text “MLM Downline” and pointed the the links back to a blog post that i wanted to rank for the Keyword “MLM Downline”.

I never expeced any direct traffic from these sites. My only expectation was that the backlinks would boost the search engine ranking of my blog post and cause me to get indirect search engine traffic. However, not only did i get direct traffic from this one particular software directory but an added benefit was that over 490 people also downloaded the software to their desktops..

In the video you’ll see why these downloads are so powerful.

The best part is that this is but one of about 1,000 sites that i uploaded the software to.. WOW!!! I guess I will be doing more of these

Building an Effective MLM Sales Funnel

It is no secret that in order to build a successful Network Marketing Business that you need a constant flow of qualified people to talk to. It is all about exposure. These people/Leads are the lifeblood of your MLM business. The more people that you can expose your business to everyday the more successful you will become.

Creating MLM Sales Funnel s is by far the best and most efficient way to get the exposure that you need. If done correctly your Network Marketing Sales Funnel will be capturing, qualifying, warming up leads and even putting them in your business for you 24/7 on autopilot. This by far is the best way to leverage your time and efforts. When you set them up they will continue to work for you without complaint until you shut them down.

Key Components of an Effective MLM Sales Funnel

Your MLM Sales Funnel should consist of the following key components

1) Keyword specific marketing

ü There are millions of people searching the internet everyday on topics related to your product or opportunity. Use Keyword research to find phrases that are searched for often but that have few websites competing for that phrase. Then create informative Marketing pieces (Videos, articles, Etc…) with a link to your Capture page to get more information.

2) Custom Lead Capture pages

ü These are short pages designed to capture your prospects follow up information. This page should brand you as an expert and also give a compelling offer (free training, etc..) in exchange for the prospects contact details.

3) Autoresponder

ü “The Money Is In The List!!!” You deliver your free offer from above through your auto-responder. This is where you house your prospects contact information (your list).This is also where you follow up on autopilot with your prospects giving them tremendous free value and also sharing your opportunity as well.

MLM Sales Funnel Example:

To illustrate this more vividly think about what you are doing right now. You are currently involved in some way in one of my Network Marketing Sales funnels. Below I will demonstrate how you are interacting with each of the components above.

Keyword research/Marketing – My Keyword research indicates that there are 5,400 searches in google every month for the term “MLM Sales” and also that there are 57,700 competing websites trying to get those views. I created this “MLM Sales” Funnel article to capture some of those 5,400 views.

Capture page – if you are on my blog then you will notice links with the anchor text MLM Sales throughout the blog. If you are reading this in an article directory you will notice both a link to my blog as well as a link to my capture page with the anchor text “MLM Sales” in the author resource box below.

Autoresponder– On my Lead Capture page I offer free training videos as well as immediate access to an automated system that will allow you to put up unlimited MLM Sales Funnels all over the internet. MLM Advertising: 3 Great Strategies to Quickly Get Tons of Traffic Leads and Sign-ups in Your MLM Business…

I recently wrote an article entitled MLM Advertising: 3 Free MLM Advertising Strategies to Increase Traffic, Leads and Sign-ups in your Network Marketing Business

In this article I outlined 3 really great free strategies that you can use to advertise your MLM business. While free strategies are great they tend to take a little longer than other strategies to see the big results.

In this post, I will outline 3 super fast direct response MLM Advertising methods that can start generating leads as quickly as today.

Direct Response MLM Advertising Method 1: PPV (Pay Per View)

With PPV Direct Response Advertising, you pay (typically a few cents) every time someone views your website. Unlike PPC (Pay Per Click Advertising) where people click to land on an advertiser’s website, PPV pops up a window right in front of the viewer’s eyes. This is an INTRUSIVE, In Your Face form of marketing that generates great results if done correctly. Interestingly, Millions of people worldwide have opted in to being shown advertisements in the form of popup windows. Two examples of services that people opt into are gamevance.com and vomba.com.

Direct Response MLM Advertising Method 2: Cell Phone (Text messaging Advertising)

This method includes utilizing the text and apps feature of cell phones to send direct ads to individual’s cell phones. I-phone users download free apps on their phones and in turn allow the app creator to display ads on their phones. Advertisers pay every time a user clicks their ad.

A few stats that make this an interesting choice:

Currently over 61% of the World, population uses a cell phone on a regular basis.
More people have a cell phone than have a television, computer, internet or anything else you can think of!

A great example of a network that you can advertise in this medium on is Admob.

Direct Response MLM Advertising Method 3: PPC (Pay Per Click)

PPC or Pay Per Click Advertising is by far the most popular of the 3 methods outlined here. With this method you can put an ad on the search engines or on relevant websites and pay only when someone clicks on your add. Google adwords is the most popular followed by Yahoo search and MSN(Bing).

This is a great way to advertise and will get you traffic almost immediately but it can be very costly if you do not know what you are doing. If you do decide to pursue PPC marketing, be sure to pick up some training material on the subject from someone who has a proven success record using this strategy for MLM Advertising.

In today’s competitive MLM environment you absolutely have to advertising if you intend to succeed. In this article I will be sharing 3 Free surefire ways to advertise your MLM Business and generate tons of traffic leads and new distributors for your Network Marketing Business.

Free MLM Advertising Method 1: Social Bookmarking

At social bookmarking communities like Digg and StumbleUpon you can place a link and description of your MLM site. There are literally hundreds of these sites/communities and you can set up accounts with them for free.

You get traffic from these sites in 2 ways

1. These sites have a huge membership base that regularly search within the sites for relevant links of interest. If they search for information that is relevant to your business they could find your link and be forwarded to your website.

2. Search engines love these sites and your bookmarks could end up appearing high in the search engine rankings which spells TRAFFIC.

Free MLM Advertising Method 2: Article Marketing

Article Marketing is quickly becoming one of my favorite Free MLM Advertising mediums. There are many different strategies that you can use to get traffic with article marketing but the simplest is as follows…

1. Conduct simple free keyword research to find what your market is looking for and use this information to derive topics to write about

2. Write a very keyword specific article that answers a question or concern that your market is facing.

3. Upload your Article to Various Article Directories and in the article resource box link back to your site as a viable answer/solution to that concern/question.

Free MLM Advertising Method 3: Video Marketing

Video Marketing is by Far my most favorite Free MLM Advertising Medium. Videos will generate quicker results and Warmer prospects. The steps are similar to article marketing.

1. Conduct simple keyword research to find what your market is looking for and use this information to derive topics to create videos about.

2. Create a very keyword specific video that answers a question or concern that your market is facing.

3. Upload your video to various video sharing Directories like youtube and metecafe and in the video description box link back to your site as a viable answer/solution to that concern/question.

Free MLM Advertising: Final Thoughts

If implemented consistently, each of the 3 Free MLM Advertising methods outlined above will generate lots of traffic and leads for your network marketing business.

A combined strategy utilizing all 3 cohesively will generate far greater results. However, if you add in a few tools to automate the process, and distribute your content(bookmarks, articles, videos) over a much larger network of sites, pretty soon you will have more traffic, leads, and Sign-Ups in your MLM business than you know what to do with.
