After several months of courtship and only approx. 4 months in business together, the pairing of FDI International and GI Connect is over. 

As short lived as the paring of the 2 companies were the surprising thing to many who knew them is that the partnership lasted as long as it did…

While the merger created great buzz and an explosion of growth in FDI International, the inherent differences in the corporate culture, brand, and philosophies of the 2 entities would lead to its dissolution. 

FDI/ Financial destination / FDI International /and the other names associated the legacy FDI company has a brand that is synonymous with simplicity, impeccable quality, great service, and over delivery in value for every product or service that they offer. Once merging with GI Connect however, the newly formed telecom division was plagued with late shipment of products, unresponsive customer service, and seemingly complicated technology that was difficult for the average person to understand or implement. As great and promising as the new technology and partnership with Giconnect was, the combination of all of the above mentioned elements caused frustration for the legacy FDI family, reps, and customers alike.
