Case Study: Submitting To Software Directories For Website Traffic Leads And Fun!!!

The other Day I had a pleasant surprise when reviewing the traffic stats for my Blog.

There was a spike in Traffic that seemed to come from 1 refering website.

When I looked closer i discovered that the surge in traffic came from a software directory.

You see, some time back I created a browser toolbar and uploaded it to over 1,000 software directories. I included the anchor text “MLM Downline” and pointed the the links back to a blog post that i wanted to rank for the Keyword “MLM Downline”.

I never expeced any direct traffic from these sites. My only expectation was that the backlinks would boost the search engine ranking of my blog post and cause me to get indirect search engine traffic. However, not only did i get direct traffic from this one particular software directory but an added benefit was that over 490 people also downloaded the software to their desktops..

In the video you’ll see why these downloads are so powerful.

The best part is that this is but one of about 1,000 sites that i uploaded the software to.. WOW!!! I guess I will be doing more of these

The fact of the matter is that in a typical MLM or Affiliate Marketing Business there’s A lot of time-consuming mundane tasks that have to be done to run your business effectively. If you have the right software (something that could be working behind the scenes even while you’re sleeping, getting prospects for you, putting them through a funnel and getting them oriented and pushed into your business) it would make life a whole lot easier wouldn’t it?

The six must have characteristics of the perfect network marketing software.

1) The Network Marketing software must be up‑to‑dat/cutting edge. (BE AWARE OF THE LEAD SELLERS) There are systems that came out several years ago that helped many people to be hugely successful at that time but many of them, did not update with the times and as such they do not work in today’s environment. Many of these older system owners make their money by selling leads. So be weary if you find a system where the big thing they’re trying to do is sell you leads within their system. If it was a good system you would be able to generate your own leads on demand and wouldn’t have to buy any leads from the system owner. So be aware of the lead sellers.

2) The Network Marketing Software Must be Customizable & scalable. You want to make sure it’s scalable and it has custom unlimited specific funnels that you can use in your marketing. If a new opportunity breaks in the market you would want the ability to quickly put out custom funnels (lead capture pages, etc…) that are customized and specifically targeted to that group. Most systems do not have this flexibility so be sure to ask for this

3) The Network Marketing Software Must have Ready2GO templates. Besides customizability and scalability, you also want to have templates ready to go immediately. This is critical because as recruit brand new distributors you want them to be up and running on the internet quickly even before they fully learn how to use the system. Proven and high converting templates are key to help you accomplish this so your new reps can earn while they learn.

4) The Network Marketing Software Must Be Self Branding. Many systems out there simply don’t brand you, they brand the system creator. You want to have a system where you can brand yourself. This is important so that your prospects can warm up to you via virtual interaction (videos, audios, pictures, etc.. before you ever even talk to them.

5) The Network Marketing Software Must Be SEO/PPC friendly. Google Slap!!! Need I say More? Simply put if your capture pages are not SEO or PPC friendly, you’ll spend a lot time on SEO and money for PPC.

6) The Network Marketing Software Must Allow You To Own Your list. The list that you build is your most valuable asset. So you want to have a system will allow you to integrate your own auto-responder so that you own your leads for the rest of time.
