I recently found a cool Seo Linking Strategies  article on building undetectable link wheels. It is shared below.

If you are not familiar with link wheels it one of the more powerful seo linking strategies that has become popular over the  last year for getting your website pages to rank on the front page of the major search engines. It allows you to leverage the power of web2.0 sites in a way that increases their power and then funnels all of their combine ranking power to the website of your choice.

The problem with link wheels however, is the same as with many other popular seo linking strategies that have come out recently. Google has become aware of these structures and have apparently adjusted their ranking algorithm to make them less effective.

“How can you get your website to the top for competitive keywords? You setup a network of websites that you control! Here’s how you can use the authority and trust of web2 properties to gain higher SERPs. What you will need is at least 24 unique articles, minimum 300 words. You can write them yourself or outsource them. Then you will register at any of the following web2 properties, but make sure you choose at least 24. If you know or use any similar web2 property, you can of course use that instead.

Weebly, Zimbio, Hub Pages, Ever.com, Squidoo, Vox, Quizilla, Wet Paint, Live Journal, Scribd, Buzzle, Clear Blogs, Ezine Articles, Tumblr, Blogger, WordPress, Kongregate, Xanga, Bloglines, Mylot, Goarticles, Helium, Associated Content, Swik.net, Edublogs.org, Blog.com, Blogetery, Insane Journal, Blogsome

Use the following diagram and fill the green, blue and gray buttons randomly with your own web2 properties. This is gonna be your own personal diagram. It doesn’t matter where in the diagram you place a certain web2 property, what matters is the linking.

Green Buttons are the backbone. They receive links from everywhere and are interlinked in a way that is virtually undetectable by algorithms. It’s called a Hamiltonian path which is an NP-Complete problem. An NP-Complete problem is a problem that there’s no known exact algorithm to compute it, only approximates can be used. Keep in mind that because of some links going from the green buttons into blue ones, it kinda breaks the perfect Hamiltonian path, but if we weren’t to do that we would be left without further diversification and the benefits that the blue (and gray) buttons give us.

Blue buttons are secondary sites which further strengthen the green network, as well as link to inner pages of our main website.

Gray buttons are fillers that are not linked from anywhere in the network (although they can be). They provide some more strength for the entire network and act as some kind of distraction, since they’re neutral (not linked from anywhere).

Yellow arrows represent the links between the green network.

Blue arrows represent the Hamiltonian path which carefully directs the juice into the upper green button, which should be the strongest site in your network. This website then links to your main website.

Red arrows are links to your main website or pages from your main website.

Pink arrows randomly interlink your entire network.

As you’ve probably noticed, the right side of the image is an exact replica of the left one, or vice versa. They are actually 2 networks, because they’re not linked to each other in any way. The only difference is that the left network links to page1 and page2 of your main website, while the right network links to page4 and page5. This acts more as a trap for any similarity filters that google might use. If google sees such similarities they could devalue your links, but I have never experienced this issue myself. Ideally, just in case you would want to add or remove a website to change the structure and interlinking of the network and thus its similarities to the second. The more locations you can get links from the better. Not just because you’re getting more links but because it looks more natural to the search engines to get links from many places.

Because there are two networks, you could use just one if your keyword is not that competitive. You can add more later anyway. You also can add strength to your network by getting links to any of the websites. The whole process is pretty time consuming and most won’t implement it. That’s exactly why YOU have to do it. Get yourself the advantage of not being lazy and do the work. Stop whatever you’re doing and start implementing a linking strategy based off this diagram. It will be the single most important SEO campaign you did in a while.

The way I normally tell the story is …

I took him up on that offer and my life
changed, now although that’s true …

There are a few details I’ve never
shared about how it really happened
because I was just too embarrassed.

Today I come clean.

Ok back to the story …

Here’s what really happened.

John was on stage.

Every word he spoke was life changing to
me.

I knew I needed to learn more from him
at all cost.

He made the offer for the one day
consult for $10,000 and my jaw dropped.

Pure elation and pure fear.

I didn’t have $10,000.

Even more so …

I started thinking about things like
“What will my family and friends say if
I do this?”

John made the offer, and …

I didn’t have the balls to take it.

I felt disgusted at myself.

You know …

That feeling where you can’t even look
at yourself in the mirror?

That’s how I felt X10.

But …

While sitting alone and sulking in the
hotel lobby, I realized all hope was NOT
lost yet.

I had a second chance.

Out in the hall …

I spotted John.

I could feel my spirits rising.

This was my second chance.

I could see myself, in my mind, going up
to him and saying …

“Your presentation was amazing. Can I
still sign up for that consult day?”

I clinched my jaw and my fist and walked
over to him.

Star struck and scared.

I don’t remember what I said.

I do remember I didn’t do what I set out
to do.

I chickened out … again.

Even though I knew life rarely grants us
second chances, and I had just been
lucky enough to have one.

I was too scared.

That $10,000 amount seemed too big.

I failed for a second time.

That seminar was dually one of the best
and most embarrassing moments of my
life.

I left depressed, doubting that I had
the courage to succeed now.

I felt like I had missed my golden
opportunity, and I had.

I was right.

None the less, I got home and put myself
on John’s list to model the way he did
his emails.

I learned a lot back in those early
days, and then …

About 3 weeks later something happened
that almost gave me a heart attack.

One day …

I open my email to read one of John’s
emails and I see it.

“Could this really be true? Lightning
doesn’t strike this many times … Does
it?”

Heart beat rising, light on my feet,
hands shaking I call the number in the
email.

I speak with Randy.

He’s busy.

He tells me to call back in an hour.

“I’m not going to let this pass me by
again”

I tell myself.

In that email …

John had made the same offer that he made
from stage with his own list of prospects
and this time I wasn’t going to let myself
be denied.

I didn’t care.

I was going to make it happen no matter
what.

I remember.

I had two credit cards.

My plan was to put as much as I could on
one, then as much as I could on the
other, and then … cover the rest with
the little savings I did have.

Here’s what happened in that hour
between the initial call with Randy and
the second one.

At first, I was elated to have the
opportunity, but then …

Almost instinctually my mind again
turned to thoughts like …

“What will my family say? They’ll think

that? Am I crazy?

I shouldn’t do this …

Who knows what’s going to happen once I
give this guy this money, for all I know
he could be scamming me.”

And those voice got louder and …

Louder, until …

I almost didn’t pick up the phone.

Then I did something that changed my
life.

A “trick” you can use yourself to make
your own magic happen.

The only way to silence all those
negative voices in my mind was to do
this.

First …

I had to let go off all the “What
if …” stuff.

Then I started to think AND write out
for myself …

IMPORTANT: Write this down and remember
it for the rest of your life. It will
change you. You will be happier if you
do.

All the reasons why I deserved to spend
$10,000 on myself for that day?

Things like …

“This is my future and no one is going
to rob me of it. I deserve this.”

“If this guy turned an idea into a
million dollar business in 18 months
then what if I can pull just one idea
out of it? I deserve that idea.”

I just kept writing and thinking and
thinking and writing until I felt it.

I was ready.

I called Randy back and booked my
$10,000 day.

That day has made me, from a monetary
stand point …
