3 HUGE MISTAKES That Can KILL Your Business

“Gradually coming out of my Thanksgiving food coma, and the rest has given me a real chance to reflect on why some Internet Marketers succeed, and others fail.
I had an AMAZING year this year – but if I hadn’t avoided a few very serious mistakes, it could have easily been a disaster. So here’s a quick list of the BIGGEST traps I see people falling into:
Trap #1: Not Finding a Mentor
Trying to succeed in IM by just buying products is like trying to drive from New York to California at night with NO map and using just your headlights. Any product, no matter how complete, can only illuminate a one small PIECE of the Internet Marketing puzzle for you (i.e. SEO, PPC, article marketing, whatever).
Those skills are all great, but they’re just one tiny piece. Finding a MENTOR is like having Marco Polo in your front seat to navigate for you! He’ll tell you EXACTLY what to do, and EXACTLY when to do it, because he’s BEEN THERE before. Finding the right mentor who’s a good fit for you can shave YEARS off your path to six figures, and get you there faster than you ever thought possible.
Trap #2: Not Re-Investing Your Money BACK Into Your Business
The smartest move I made this year was re-investing about HALF of what I made online back into my business. Okay, sure – I bought a bunch of stuff with my new income, and took a trip around the world. Who wouldn’t? 
But I ALSO knew that the more you WATER a money tree with time, attention, and well…money, the more it GROWS! Because I’ve re-invested my money in new learning, new sources of traffic, and coaching calls with new mentors, my income has skyrocketed this year.
Don’t be afraid to SPEND MONEY to grow your business! It’s LEVERAGE – the more you can LEVERAGE, the more you can GROW. But the flip side of that coin is…Trap #3.
Trap #3: “Shiny Object” Syndrome
Here’s one I’m guilty of. I was happy to re-invest my money back into my business, but I spent it in the WRONG place. I hung out on marketplaces like the Warrior Forum and Clickbank, buying whatever amazing new system promised instant riches. The result? I was always jumping from one system to the next, without EVER implementing what I learned!
So where should you spend your money? On quality mentoring programs with people you KNOW are succeeding. And if you like their personality, so much the better! Find someone who’s work and style you enjoy, and get them to LEAD YOU BY THE HAND into a six-figure income. They will tell you what works, what doesn’t, and show you all the shortcuts they took to get amazing results!”
